SOUR CHERRY VARENIKI are a type of traditional dumpling from Ukraine that we make by hand at our SE Portland restaurant. The hexagonal shape is uncommon among vareniki purists but we don’t mind going against the grain when in pursuit of dough-wrapped perfection.
